We've just completed Day 3 (of 9) of the Tropical Yarn Crawl - and we've met more than 25 new friends already!
Plus, we even had three people turn in their completed Yarn Crawl Passports to us today - amazing work, yarn friends. The zeal to seek out the yarn is strong in this crowd! The newest member to the Raging Wool Team, Hannah, was even in the shop taking some videos and picture for our upcoming documentary (ok, brief video) on the Crawl, so stay tuned for that. She's seen here with her bag full of yarn - there just may be some Round Mountain in there, I bet.
The Tropical Yarn Crawl runs through Feb. 4 and includes 8 shops from around the Treasure Coast and South Florida. Baah Yarns dyed an exclusive colorway for Yarn Crawl participating shops, and we've sold out of more than half our supply already. If you're interested in it, snag it now here or on our new Facebook store.
We also have a limited number of tote bags available to commemorate the Tropical Yarn Crawl - these are in-store only, so come see us or call us to get one of your very own.
Did you know that we're having a DAILY drawing for some yarn for people who visit the shop on that day? All the more reason to stop in and say hi, you could just win a skein of some FABULOUS stuff!
Have you Crawl'ed yet? We'd love to hear about your discoveries, what you're knitting/crocheting/weaving/spinning with your new additions, or just you on your Harley (yes, we had a customer (Karen!) do the Crawl Saturday on a motorcycle! Tag us on Facebook and Instagram with your fun pictures, posts, and memories!
Lastly, we want to build up our Ravelry group to be a spot for those of us who can't make it to the store as often as we like to still have that cozy Raging Wool feel. We're going to start doing more Knit/Crochet-a-longs, and other fun stuff. Stop by the Raging Wool Ravelers and join the fun!
