Talk about a quick project - this can be knit up in an afternoon! With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we had a few little pilgrims that needed a cute toy to mark the holiday. This Knit Turkey pattern by Kirsten Hipsky courtesy of Valley Yarns was just the thing. It's a great pattern to use up an unwanted scrap yarn, too, since that's what you ball up and "stuff" in the body. The pattern calls for worsted yarn, but we used fingering-weight and size 4 needles to make this turkey tiny. What do you think?
